Rare Superman Comic From 1939 Old Vintage Superman Comic For Sale
I recently got a box of some of my grandfathers stuff after he passed away. In the box (filled with some WW II stuff I might be posting) was this comic. It's pretty old and it's not numbered but the copy right date says it's from 1939 which makes it a pretty old comic book. I know it's not number 1 because Superman number one has him smashing a car on the cover (I looked it up) so this just might be a collection of short stories, I don't know I never was into comics. I know the publisher is Detective Comics and it's in decent shape for being so old, it's been sitting in an attic, perhaps since before WW II.
I am not sure what it is worth but I know it's got to be worth something because Superman is popular and this is an older comic so I will start the offer at what I think it might be worth and if it does not sell I will lower it or comic people will offer it up.
