A very unusual sterlingsilver egg cutter also termed an egg topper. It is marked STERLING SILVER MADEIN ENGLAND THE EKUTTA H.J.C&CoLd Reg Num 522483 (this shows their design was registered in 1910). For those unaware it is used to slice thetop of a boiled egg and is in full working order for a similar example. It is in perfect unusedcondition being is free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 4.25 inches(10.5cms) long by over 2.25 inches (5.9cms) and weighs 33 grams. A super quality very rare and unusual piece.
