This is very striking and I believe rare 'Bristol Blue' Glass Perfume bottle
In the shape of an egg..
With a chased foliate design screw top...with its original cork stopper
The top could well be silver, I am unsure, it has not been tested, there are no marks, although it does feel like silver...Therefore I cannot describe as silver, but white metal...
Circa 1880
The glass bottle is in excellent condition....
The top does have some small roughness along the edge...
When screwed together tight it does apprear not to fit snug to each other, but mentioned for total accuracey..
Apart from that a lovely rare egg perfume bottle....
