Rare Vintage 1950s "farfel" The Nestle's Dog Ventriloquist Puppet Doll Toy:
Produced in the early to mid-1950s, this is the earliest toy version of ventriloquist Jimmy Nelson's "Farfel" character, best known for his appearances in the old Nestle's Quik TV commercials, which ran from 1955 until 1965 ("N-E-S-T-L-E-S, Nestle's makes the very best...CHAW-CLAAAAT!" followed by Farfel's customary jaw "snap!"). This toy is old, needs a good home and some TLC. He's far from perfect, but still loveable and in good enough shape to be a nice addition to any toy, doll or ventriloquism-related collection. He's made of composition and stuffed cloth. His pull-string mouth still works...but be gentle.
