Description
This gorgeous gift wrap paper was made by Dennison, and dates to the 1940\'s. It is a stunning design of white candles with yellow flames on a royal blue background. The paper is light weight, almost a tissue type of paper. During the 1940\'s, especially the war years, raw materials were in short supply, so paper was often thinner and less expensive that later on. Dennison was the leader in gift wrap, party novelties and decorations for almost a century, and their vintage items are highly prized by collectors because of their charm. This gift wrap has the Dennison label pinned to the paper - this was common, as well, during the war years, as cellophane was also in short supply! The paper is 2 sheets 30" x 20", and is in excellent condition with no damage. It would be fun for packages or all kinds of crafts! I have other paper available, so take a look!
