uncovered, this is believed to be the last of a rare collection of the WWII US
Army publication –Yank, The Army Weekly.
Issued
during the Second World War, these rare publications were issued weekly
to/by/for servicemen around the world. They are a piece of US literary and
wartime history.
This
sale is for (4) Issues as described below and illustrated in the sale
pictures.

The above three issues are the standard newsprint versions of Yank.
They are in very good condition considering they are over 80 years old. However
there are some negligible tears on some of the pages and wear/damage to the
lower left center corner. See pictures. The newsprint is aged. However all
pages are able to easily flip and open. No flaking or disintegration when
handled (with reasonable care). They are the standard approximate size 14 x 11.
(1) Issue
of the June 1942 “Bunk Edition” of Yank
This edition is on a thicker bond and is in excellent
condition. This special program completely unfolds to a poster size of
approximately 21” x 28”
