VERY RARE Limited Edition of 200 worldwide. Tri-Coloured Wedgwood Jasperware Cutler Vase - Horace BuckleyA rare and very exciting piece I have for offer this fabulous, tri-coloured Cutler vase, boxed, certificated and by one of Wedgwood's greatest modern day finishers Horace Buckley.Measuring approximately 18cm in height, 14.5cm width from handle to handle and with a base diameter of around 7.5cm this classic trophy shaped piece carries, in white bas relief, the coat of arms for the Company of Cutlers (Hallamshire) along with the Cutlers' Hall to the opposing side. There are further white adornments to the handles, behind the handles and to the cover finial. The Portland blue bas-relief is fairly extensive in the form of stripes to the base section. Acanthus leaves to the handles, two broad floral bandings top and bottom of the piece aswell as an acorn band to the upper rim and further striping to the cover.The piece is impress marked to its base (1975), as per the additional image and includes the pressed initials of Horace Buckley (HB)The piece is in mint condition and comes with both its original fitted transit box and its certificate of authenticity showing this to be number 134 vase in a Worldwide run of only 200.Pieces of this quality come along very rarely, even more so when boxed and certificated, these are vital whether you are a collector or investor/dealer. Horace Buckley, a highly acclaimed Master Craftsman at Wedgwood, worked on prestige pieces such as this run of vases, if you have a piece with his initials on it then you have a piece of the very highest quality.
