***** I have just received a letter from an individual that indicated how "How rare can this be? It is in obvious reproduction." I want to address this issue as I do everything I can to be an honest seller. On the 5th of February there was a the Florida Militaria Collector's Society in Maitland. I have had this buckle for some time but haven't sold it till I could get someone to authenticate it. I took it there and a large dealer who dealt in Imperial German items indicated that it was real. I can only go only go by what the experts say. This was how I authenticated it and presented the item. I am no expert so it is what you believe it is. ********

I have received some additional information pertaining to this piece and it does appear to have a Third Reich markingRZMon the item which would not be consistant with a World War 1 item. Again, I am no expert, but I do not want to deceive anyone as a seller either. Therefore, there is a possibility this item is a reproduction and if you have offer on this item and wish to withdraw the offer, you may do so.
