Up for sale with is a Rare Early American Coin Silver Mustard or Condiment Serving Spoon. The Spoon is very fine quality and is marked on the back A. Mathey. I quickly researched the mark and found this person was listed as A. Mathey & Co., New York, importers of watches, watchmaker’s tools and materials, dealers in jewelry and silver, 1837. The Spoon shows a nice original period monogram of A.M. as seen in the photos. The Spoon is a nice size for display or use measuring 5-1/8" long by 3/4" wide across the bowl and has a quality weight of 16 grams. The Spoon is also in excellent condition, really no flaws to mention. This is a great find for any collector of early American Coin Silver.
