Theirs has a built in rechargeable battery that YOU CANNOT replace when it burns out, & it will for sure over time! Kinda like the old ipod battery problem.
We are here to stay & have been selling on since 1997, & use INDUSTRY std rca female cable connections, which are easily replaceable if ever needed locally or by us.
The other DVR'Ssold on use a cheap4 pin S VIDEO TYPE 4 pin connector that can go defective,break off, & even bend just after a few uses due to the cheap pins inside the connection.
THEY COMMONLY BEND & BREAK OFF INSIDE THE JACK. The poorly crafted plugscanleave you totally out of luck in finding a replacement cable locally, & then have to spend big money for a new cable from the original place you bought it, & wait for it to be shipped, & hopefully they are still in business to help you.
Our DVR model has a re-enforced 3.5mmav input jack, others we have researchedare weak & canshort out just after a few uses or if bumped to many times leaving you frustrated, & the company you bought it from is now probably out of business.
