This is for astylish antique Victorian double ended perfume bottle. It has a deep ruby red glass at either end which is faceted. There is ahinge in the centre and the glass is mounted in gilt silver. The one end has a catch that flips open the lid and under the lid is a sprung stopper. The other end has a lid that unscrews. The bottle comes in its original box which is moulded to fit it perfectlyand the perfume bottleis in absolute excellent unused condition with no damage to the glass or the silver and no wear to the gilding, there are no dents and no cracks. The box is also in excellent condition. The bottlemeasures 130mm (5") long by25mm (1") in diameter. There are no hallmarks on it anywhere that i can find, i haven't tested it but its highly likely that it is silver under the gilt, it certainly looks it, and it has a real quality feel to it, there are plenty of silver scents unmarked, but for the purpose of the sale, with no visible marks i will sell it as silver plated.
