Presented are a Roseville \"Tourmeline\" pattern very large blue console bowl w/ matching frog (flower arranger). Please see pictures to see how blue is mixed with pale green/white over glaze. Closest descriptive of blue glaze color is periwinkle/aqua. perfect for Spring and Easter!

Foil label marks bottom of console. Ribbed bands on body of piece. \"Tourmaline\" was an early Roseville pattern introduced in 1933. This pattern has distinctive ribbing on many pieces, as well as characteristic drip glaze combination.

Size is 12.5 x 7.25\" x 5.25\". The flower frog is 5\" x 3.25\". Together, the pieces weigh 5.5 lbs. This Roseville pattern can be unmarked or have foil label, and fortunately, this console has the foil label for identification. Impressive, large and unusual piece which I bought from the estate sale of antiques dealers. This was in their personal collection. For the discerning art pottery collector or for the (home) decorator looking for a statement piece for hall or dining table.
