is one of RGKs more finished little studies for Edgar Rice Burroughs Lord of the Jungle, Tarzan of the Apes, done in the 1960s.A great piece and rare to find Tarzan material from that time period in a painted study.I have been told by the publisher David Spurlock on some
authoritythat the long delayed third volume in the RGK sketchbook series will
appear from Vanguard Publications this summer. It is a consumation devoutly to
be wished for and embraced by all those who cherish the work of a great
draughtsman.Needless to say this drawing comes from the archives of the
RGK Estate and has never been offered for sale before. Authentication from
the RGK Estate upon demand.
