ROY ROGERS signed 1950s exhibit 4-on-1 postcard card (with Gene Autry, cowboys):
$19.00

Roy Rogers (\"King of the Cowboys\") Details: I purchased this postcard at a Hollywood memorabilia / postcard show in mid-late 1980s, and then proceeded to obtain it signed shortly thereafter. This was via the mail route c/o his museum in Victorville, Calif. Signed in solid black felt-tip. Mint signature. Excellent+ condition postcard (though the corners are very slightly roundish, which might technically drop the condition to vg/ex+.). It\'s extremely clean (both sides) and without any blemishes. Back side is completely blank tannish, without any marks.

The is an original postcard, which came out of vending machines in the 1950s. The contrast is so-so (average). More: The complete signature shows up fine in-person, even though the \"ers\" is in a slightly darker backdrop. Size: 3 6/16 x 5 6/16\". Thick \"4-on-1\" exhibit / arcade postcard. The other three cowboys pictured are Elton Britt, Buffalo Bill Jr., and Gene Autry. Rare image. This is my second and last one. I\'ve decided to part with this one from my own collection. Also have listed a signed Eddie Dean 4-on-1, and Sunset Carson fan club card.

Winning buyer needs to add $2.75 for postage and tracking. Overseas = $8. Canada less. Returns accepted. Postage cost on each additional winning is 25¢. Guaranteed. More details are listed at far below. • I\'ve been a collector since 1970. I learned about collecting autographs through columns in old trade magazines, such as The Trader Speaks and Newsreel. I\'ve been selling autographed items on for about fifteen years. Unless otherwise noted, each was personally obtained for my own collection or inventory. This was mostly via the mail route from 1973-95.
• 14-year-old exhibitor at the third and last annual Brea Show in 1971. (This SoCal get-together was a forerunner of the Nat\'l Sports Collectors Con.) Member of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club (UACC) and Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). Contributor to SABR\'s ongoing Baseball Biography Project. Authored the 259-page book Baseball\'s Golden Half-Century 1910-1959 (published in 2007). Great nephew and sole researcher of Paul Martin, who illustrated twenty magazine covers for Collier\'s and played in three US Opens during the Roaring Twenties. I\'ve been a subscriber and occasional advertiser to the major hobby publications, since the early 1970s. My full-page ads have appeared in Autograph Collector (later called Autograph Magazine). This includes the following older issues: Jun \'90 p 37; Sept \'90 p 25; Jan \'91 p 35; Aug \'91 p 19; Apr \'93 p 7; Oct \'94 p 32; Oct \'96 p 87 etc.
• Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance! There\'s no need to be unhappy with a signed item. Rather, please return it insured and in the same condition received, for a full refund (less postage cost). I\'ve never sold copies or pre-prints, only originals! Everything listed is guaranteed to pass JSA, PSA/DNA or R.Simon Sports without time restraints. But try to present some proof that it was purchased from me, like a copy of the listing or receipt. Insurance is usually optional. If declined, my responsibility ends with providing evidence of mailing. (Fortunately, only one very low priced item didn\'t get through.) All items are sent out parcel post in a thick 6x9\" (or larger) brown envelope, regardless of its value. Handling time is within ONE day of receiving payment (excluding Sundays and Holidays). However, I have NO control if the postal service is slow in its delivery. Parcels are often NOT scanned into the system locally (re. tracking). My basic Certificate of Authenticity (COA) will be sent out upon request.
