RARE PAIR OF ANTIQUE ROYAL WORCESTER 17\" FIGURES AFTER JAMES HADLEY CIRCA1880\'s Size: 17\" to 17.5\" tall (he is a little taller than her) base is 7\" x 7\". An impressive pair of Royal Worcester porcelain figures. late 19thc. after the model by James Hadley. One is modeled as a woman holding a basket wearing a floral dress and the other is a young fisherman wearing clogs and holding a basket. Worcester pattern # 67079. Printed 1202 on both bases with other potter\'s numbers. These were made into lamps in the 60\'s and I have removed those fixtures from the base. As a result there is a small hole in the base (showing one). Not a big deal. The statues themselves look very good overall. The boy appears to have some old professional restoration around his leg and arm/basket area. At least the discoloration in those areas may suggest that. I am selling as best described. The girl appears to be fine. They are both dirty as this is the way I bought them from the estate in Nicholasville, Ky. If you would like the light fixtures with this lot, I can ship those for an extra $39.95 insured. They would go in a separate box. If you have your own insurance I can lower the cost of the shipping on the figures by $13 bringing it down to $36.95.
