ROYCROFTERS ARTS AND CRAFTS STYLE HAMMERED COPPER TRAY WITH HANDLES c. 1915THIS TRAY IS APPROXIMATELY 15 3/4" INCHES IN DIAMETER AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION, APART FROM A FEW MINOR SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE.THE TOP IF IT HAS BEEN POLISHED BRIGHT, WHILE TRACES OF THE ORIGINAL, POSSIBLY TINNED OR SILVER WASHED FINISH REMAIN ON THE BACK.IT HAS AN EARLY TYPE MARK..c . 1915A WIKI NOTE ABOUT: Roycroft was a reformist community of craft workers and artists which formed part of the Arts and Crafts movement in the USA. Elbert Hubbard founded the community in 1895 in the village of East Aurora, Erie County, New York, near Buffalo. Participants were known as Roycrofters.
