You are offerding on a formerly enjoyed only one or two times condition high contrast stained straight grain "Bent Military Egg" shaped pipe, with a hand cut genuine horn ferule, that was hand crafted in Germany, by the world renowned pipe maker, Mr. Rainer Barbi. This beautiful briar possesses a hand cut German ebonite stem. It is stamped as a grade"AC" and "RC" (September 1999 production). Since it was used only once or twice, and has been sitting in storage for most of its life, it is in an incredibly mint and pristine condition!
The shape is stunning. The high contrast stained bowl combined with the sense straight grain make for a most mesmerizing effect. The overall balance feels perfect, with a low center of gravity. Along with the relatively light weight of the pipe, and the thin cut of the stem's bit, will allow this pipe to be very easily held in the mouth. The hand feel is very comfortable.The draft is nice and easy. A pipe cleaner will easily glide to the bottom of the bowl.
Here are the pipe’s dimensions: The overall length is about 5.75”. The bowl height is about 1.85”. The tobacco chamber is 0.80” in diameter and tapers down the bowl’s 1.55” inner depth. Capacity is about that of a Group 5 size Dunhill pipe. It weighs 43 grams.
I
have lightly, but thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, rejuvenated, and
polished this beautiful pipe both inside and out. This took no time at all, since this pipe was like new when I had received it. Again, this pipe was used only once or twice and has been in storage for years! The original hand
cut two tone Cumberland vulcanite stem is free from any tooth marks, oxidation, or scratches. The stem's raised "RB" stem logo is as crisp and clear s the day that the pipe was made. The bowl coating is the original to the pipe. It is ready

The pipes that I ship have too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. (In my twelve years of selling pipes on and shipping thousands of pipes around the world, not a single pipe has been damaged!) I also try my utmost to ship your pipe the same day that I receive your payment, even if this means making a special trip to the Post Office just for you alone. The Registered parcels that ship overseas take extensive time with both the packaging and four forms of documentation that must be filled out. Unfortunately, this all has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please offer accordingly.
