Randall Knife Paperweight, 1961 1st Knife In Space, Astro Custom Knives, Only 65 For Sale

Fromthe estate of a Randall Knife collector comes this extremely rare paperweight commemorating the Randall Astro Knife which was the1st knife in space. It was carried by Commander Alan Shepard on May 5, 1961 when he became the first US Astronaut launched into space. Only 65 of these were ever made and I would imagine there are far fewer now. ThisIS NOT a reproduction, it is all original. I guarantee it!It is a exact mini version of the Astro Knife, inbedded in a round lucite block that is 1 inch tall and a touch over 4 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with only some marks on the bottom where it was moved around on a desk over the years. The knife measures roughly 2 1/4 inches long. A very nice, rarecollectible for the Randall Knife collector who has everything, or is trying to get to that point! I have seen these sell for big money, thousands, actually, in years past. I do understand the way the economy is currently many collectors have "disposed" of their "disposable" income. That is why I have decided to start this modestly low, with ,and let the collectors decide what the current value is. Remember, this is extremely rare with only 65 being produced.
