Rare 17th C. Polish Or Hungarian Hussar's Karabela Saber Sword (shamshir):
Very rare Polish or Hungarian Hussar battle saber dating from around mid to late 1600s, of typical to Polish sabers open D-guard steel mounted hilt with extra long langets and distinctively shaped goat skin over wood grip and steel pommel crown. All completely solid and intact with a sturdy curved blade having multiple narrow blood grooves to each side and barely noticeable raised tip area, blade exhibiting fine pitting and nice gray patina throughout and retaining very good sharp edge.
