Rare and wonderful 17th to early 18th century linen press/cupboard.this piece was found in the 1st Congregational Church in Boxford Mass. It is in wonderful condition with an early finish and the best patina. It is made of oak and has raised panel doors, and the original H hinges. This piece was made with wooden pegs in the interior, probably to hang the priests robes. It has since been fitted with shelves which can easily be removed. It measures 58\" wide X 71\" tall X 22\" deep. It is made entirely of oak with mortise and tenon construction and the original Rose head nails.it has some minor damage to the front corner of the top section(see picture).
