Rare 1861 Civil War Confederate Document Signed By Gen. Felix Zollicoffer - Kia:
Original Civil War Confederate manuscript order dated July 12, 1861 at Camp Trousdale, Tennessee, signed by Brigadier General Felix Zollicoffer (1812-1862) who was killed in action just six months later at the battle of Mill Springs, Kentucky. This order assigns a drill officer to the regiment commanded by Col. Joel Battle. Camp Trousdale, near Nashville, operated as a training base in the early part of the war. Zollicoffer was a Seminole War veteran and member of Congress before the Civil War. His war date autograph is very rare. Size about 4 3/4" x 8". Shipping $3.
