Rare 18th Century Revolutionary War Fish Tail Folding Knife From Pennsylvania For Sale
Up for your consideration comes this rare folding knife from the late 18th century. Of all the ones I have seen like this and no question made by the same hand had some ties to the state of PENNSYLVANIA, and that is where this one came from. You see these come up for sale on every now and then, but are few and far between. I have seen a collection of these before and all display the same workmanship. The only differences in the are the size and then sometime encountered with one part of the fish tail, and this I think is because one end is broke off. Pin location, file marks are all the same but not a carbon copy. I hope someday the knives can be linked to a name. In any case I am offering this one up for sale. This is the only one I have personally owned. There are just not enough of them to collect this type. Condition is as seen in photos. See all photos . photos best describe.
