Rare 18thC German Porcelain Leg Shaped Pipe Tamper Porzellan Stopfer Meissen:
$1499.00

For sale is a rare porcelain leg made for stuffing you pipe made by Meissen though unmarked which was normal on these. It dates to the late 18th or early 19th century. These legs are called Flohbein in German since a little flea was painted on them as a joke. This one is exquisitely hand painted and has nice detail all around. It is unmarked which is almost always the case with these. The little brown spot near the top is the flea! It is in perfect condition. The leg is a bit over 2.25 inches long. If you like my goodies have a look at my other sales for a lot more top maker pieces or contact me through . Returns accepted if an item should not be as described. I always provide a tracking number so keep an eye on that since postal services aren\'t perfect. porcelaine porcellana
