Beautiful, one of a kind, Sterling Silver & Blue Guilloche Enamel Pill Box/Snuff Compact. The technique as it pertains to jewelry making is to carve a design into the metal. This box has a scenery of fishing boats, a fishing dock with a person fishing from it, mountains and numerous clouds in the sky. I could not find another like this. The back has the beautiful wavey swirl. Very old, maybe even older then the 1900’s. Lid is hinged. See pictures for the fine details of the inside and detailed design on the lid.
