Rare! Vintageoriginal 1950s tether car! This is an unknown maker Streamliner tether race car. I have been unable to find any photos or information on this car. Two-piece cast aluminum body with air inletsin the very front and one on the left hand side in front of the rear wheel. There is no engine in the car, only the drive axle and gear. Tires are marked 'Champion' and are mounted on aluminum disc wheels. It is painted in a deep maroon color and is hand lettered X15 and 'record setter' and it is hand pinstriped. This is a very large car as evidenced by the photo of it next to an Ohlsson & Rice tether car, it is18" in length, and 9" wide! All four tires are perfect, the car looks as if it might not have ever been run. Veryrare tether car in awesome condition. I have included 12 photos on the sale page.
