Rare 19thC English Porcelain Seashell Scene Pair Vase s Porzellan Vasen Shells:

For sale is a pair of vases possibly made by Coalport or Mintons or maybe even Worcester Flight and Barr in the early to mid 19th century. Definitely English! Both vases have a fun shape, some nice gold trim with raised detail and a great turquoise colored neck but the best part is the handpainted seashell scene on each one. Matching but different they are quite rare and hard to find and a pair is a definite plus. Both the scenes are quite detailed with three shells in them as well as red coral and some seaweeds. The pair is in superb condition with a little wear to the gold trim on the very top and one or two light scratches and some very fine crazing. Each vase is 6.75 inches tall with the bottom part having a diameter of about 4.5 inches. Neither piece is marked what you see underneath is some idiot having written something with a permanent marker that seeped into the fine crazing and became really permanent. Trule a fun pair and shell scenes are extremely rare on porcelain.
