From 1999 to 2001, Bloomingdales created an annual line of Broadway-themed merchandise, including a very popular snow globe, which benefited BC/EFA. When Bloomingdales stopped making their Broadway line, BC/EFA decided to produce their own Broadway-themed merchandise, all of which featured Broadway musical logos of that year's season. The first BC/EFA snow globe was made in 2002, when artist Rick Conway designed a base with the Art Deco flavor of the New Amsterdam theatre, while the inside of the globe featured a more contemporary cityscape full of theatre marquees and show logos.BC/EFA is the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant making organization. BC/EFA is the on-going, committed response from the American Theatre community to an urgent worldwide health crisis. By drawing upon the talents, resources, and generosity of this community, BC/EFA raises funds for AIDS-related causes across the United States. Since its founding in 1988, BC/EFA has raised over $140 million for critically needed services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.ALL SALES FINAL. THANK YOU
