27" Lizzie by Romie Strydom Big Girl Doll 02/50 Vinyl Cloth Torso c 2006 Costume

Description: Up for offers is this 27" big girl doll named Lizzie by acclaimed artist Romie Strydom. This beautiful girl is marked on her back with the artist's name and also the date 2006. She was part of a very small limited edition produced and is number 2/50. Her neck is also signed with the artist's name.

This darling, big eyed girl has a swivel vinyl head on a vinyl shoulder plate which is sewn to her stuffed, cloth torso. She has expertly applied high-color facial paint and big brown inset eyes framed in real top lashes. She comes with her original, custom made costume which includes a blue floral print top, crocheted vest, jacket with blue ruffled hem, pants with stitiching at the knees, oat meal colored socks, and light blue lace up boots. Also included is a floral head wreath and silk bird accessory found with her. They probably weren't part of her original costume, but will include them.  Everything is in very fine, clean condition. She can be posed to stand alone.

Romie Strydom is a very gifted artist hailing from South Africa. She has sculpted many wonderful “Big Girl” dolls and here's your chance to own one! Condition She is in overall excellent condition with no tears or discolorations. No box or paperwork. She has been gently handled by an adult collector.
