A rare itemand a great addition to any collection.
The exterioris inlaid with brass stringing – no losses
The centreof the lid is inlaid with a crown – see photos

There is a slitherof veneer missing from the right side open edge see photos
And also asmall nibble to the left from inner edge of the box. Both of these minor faultsare only noticeable when the box is open. Also easily fixable.
The pushclasp opens and the inner tray automatically rises because the spring stillworks well.
The interiorof the box is I believe the original silk / velvet
A good sizeexample and bigger than most pocket watch boxes that are on the market.
