Wow ~ this hat is absolutely amazing!I have never seen one like it, it isentirely made up of gold bullion metaland threads, very elaborate, with theoriginal pale blue silk ruched ribbonsin the back. I think it could beshined up, but I am not an expert inthis type of item, so will leave thatto an expert. Please view pictures tosee details as it is not perfect, butfor it\'s age it is pretty awesome. Ipurchased this a few years ago at anantique clothing show from a dealerthat is very knowledgable in antiqueclothing and hats. This was one of hisprize possessions, but he has beenslowly selling his collection.
