Rare Antique Houk Tires Wheels Oil Canvas Painting Advertising Sign Military For Sale

This exceedingly rare antique sign was recently discovered in an upstate NY estate. This painting depicts a WWI Scene of US Soldiers fending off German Soldiers on horseback while they are changing the tire on their vehicle. The painting is titled "Quick Change" and is signed by the artist in lower left "G. Simmons". An airplane can also be seen in the top left corner of this painting. Painting has retained beautiful colors while being housed in what I believe is its original frame. The painting is in nice condition, there are no holes in the canvas or major points of surface wear, although new owner may wish to have this painting cleaned. The painting does have some wear in the upper left corner near the plane, which can be seen in the photos, also there is one minor spot of loss right below the tire on the ground. Frame measures 37.5 inches tall by 27.5 inches wide, sight size on the piece is 31.5 inches tall by 21.75 inches wide! The frame does have some lighter wear.
