This large round 04 1/2 Platter/Plate/Charger is made by Minton .One of the premier manufacturers or transferware in the UK This is from the period 1890-1912 per the back mark.This piece is Gorgeous and in Excellent condition. I will admit that it did have a hanger on it but it was not damaged by it. The pattern is of an Asian scene with mountains in the background and a houses in the foreground. The pattern does not meet correctly and this may have been a reject. This makes it more of a rarity.
There is a single hair width surface crack on the back.There is some crazing if you look through a magnifying glass. The ridge where the platter rests on the table does have a bit of scratching.
For it\'s age this is in amazing condition.
