You are looking/offerding on thisbeautiful largeand rareoriginal brass with copperinner dialand what I think is French lantern wall clock datingaround the early to mid 1800s..... The clock is complete with1 huge iron weight at around 5 kg and a near 1 meter length pendulum that attaches to the back and has the original loop string. The rod for the pendulum is not 100% straight but straight enough. The clock works on a pully system thus the weight drives the working of the movement and strikingto the large brass bellon the hour, I understand this clock to be a 24-30 hour but have not let it run for that long simply due to the noise from the striking to the bell as it is very loud... The clock has had a half hearted attempt to polishitin 2 spots on the face. If polished it would look stunning.. This clock runs beautiful and isin original condition with only acouple ofnew replaced screws to the front.

This clock is running perfect but does strike in at a couple of mins over the hour but can be adjusted via a specialist. Not bad for an antique of this age.. See movie footage further down the page.

Please note that due to the size of the pendulum this item is required to be sentvia 2 packages. Note the clock and weight will be well over 13kg when packed.. Can send without weight for a lower cost.. Pendulum is over 4kg when packed.. Weight and packages reflect in the total cost of posting and is FINAL. So pleasebe sure to understand the postal costs before offerding..
