Thisearly Englishwinder is carved of wood and is hand decorated with a floral pen workdesign, different on each side.It measures 5 1/8\" x 2 1/2\" and isin great condition with no chips, cracks or loss.

Itwas once in the collection of Diane Pelham Burn and this is the winderthatwas photographed in the lower plate on p. 37 of her book Thread Winders, A Collector\'sGuide.
