Up for sale a rare antique Sessions Adamantine Shelf / Mantle clock. It winds and runs perfectly. The detailing on the front of this adamantine (early form of plastic) clock case is just exquisite. Both sets of columns, side meal ornamental pieces, and legs are all intact and look original.As you can tell by the photographs the clock needs a good cleaning. The wood back is still on clock although the label has been peeled off. I'd venture to say this clock was constructed circa 1930. The face reads "Made by the Sessions Clock Co. Forstville, Conn. U.S.A." The glass cover is perfect with no cracks and it latches closed tightly. Dimensions of the clock are 10.5" high by 15" long by 6" wide.
