Here we have a beautifully and rare early hallmarked silver Teddy Bear baby teething ring, rattle. He is a hollow silver seated Teddy Bear cub with a bell suspended from underneath. He has a mother of pearl ring. He is hallmaked for Birmingham 1908, which is an early and rare date for one of these rattles. The maker is Henry Williamson Ltd, Birmingham. There is a dent in his back, but I think this is acceptable and doesn\'t really detract from him. Would look lovely around the neck of an early Steiff bear.3in.
