Art Deco 1920's Minton Canadian Pacific Steamship Lines RMS Empress Tea Set For FourDescription:
This set comprises a teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and four trio's decorated with flowers, vases and birds in an oriental Art Deco manner. This set was once used in arestaurantaboard one of the RMS Empress fleets during the 1920's and is super rare. Each piece has transfer printed marks to their bases and some are also impressed Mintons. The teapot is 6.75" tall, the milk jug and cups are 2.75" tall and the side plates 5.25" in diameter.
The cups, saucers, plates, milk jug, sugar bowl are all free of chips and cracks. There is some crazing to some of the saucers. The teapots spout has unfortunately been cracked and repaired. Please see the pictures.Featherstone's Philosophy

Payment is expected within four days of the listing ending. I accept payment by Cheque and Postal Order but will wait for the funds to clear before dispatching an item. Please note that import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or P&P charges for international buyers, it is up to you to check your countries charges. For items with the sale price over £46 it buyers choose an additional insured method for delivery and this will be invoiced to you after the listing has ended.
All our items are wrapped to the highest standards using high quality materials please see our response to confirm this. Included in the postage price is our cost of materials of bubble wrap, cardboard boxes, labels, packaging and fragile tape, paper and printer ink usage and diesel to and from the post office. Please bear these costs in mind before you offer and please understand when leaving response and detailed seller ratings that I make no money on postage and on average I lose 19.3% per sale in costs. I generally post within three days of payment received. I am always happy to combine postage to save on postage costs for multiple purchases.
I always try to provide enough detail in my listings about the item for sale. In buying from us you are agreeing you have reviewed the supersize pictures and are happy with the condition of the item. These pictures are designed to be more effective than words and I expect buyers to see any imperfections quite easily. I sell antique items which are never in a new condition so please bear in mind there may be signs of wear.
If you have any problems when you receive your item please get in touch with me to resolve the situation. I always refund an items cost and original postage and packaging if you are not satisfied with the product but it is the buyers responsibility to re pack and pay the return postage. If the item does not return in the exact same condition to what it was sent or if it is damaged in transit no refund will be given and photographic evidence will provided to bothand the buyer.
