FulperPottery, located in Flemington, New Jersey from 1910 to 1929, created some of the most memorable ceramiclamps that were illuminated by electricity. Their figuralboudoir lamp depicting a pantalooned and maskedHarlequin is prized by Fulper collectors today. It is thetranslucency of the ceramic, lit from within, along with the colorfuland almost kitschy look of the figure, that makes this lamp so precious – whocan resist an illuminated and glowing skirt and pantaloons? The Harlequin lady boudoir lamp was originally calledTheMask Boudoir Lamp No. 331andit was marketed in the 1920s.
William Fulper died in 1928 & sadlyhispottery burned to the ground in 1929.

Excellent Condition
Inside the shade (out of view) there has been a
professional repair where the potteryholds one of the metal arms;
the mechanismthat grasps the bulb is strong and structurally sound.
