DOLL Size Antique Dough Cupboard Salesman Sample Tin Bin Hoosier
This is a fantastic antique wooden dough cabinet, perfect for a child to use, could also be considered doll size
Hand made with a dark wood, possibly oak
Legs are turned.
It has 4 drawers and a small cutting board
The two bottom drawers have curved tin bottoms
There is writing on the bottom inside drawers (photo'd) unable to read
Each drawer has a beautiful small white porcelain glass knob
It measures, the top is 22" x 11 1/2", 16 1/4" tall
This is wonderful piece is in great, sturdy condition. There are a few tiny chips on the knobs, the tin bins have rust and a few minor scratches as shown in photos
We do not have any more information about this great piece. It is obviously not new and we guarantee it is not a new reproduction.
We estimate the first half of the 1900s, probably closer to the 1920s era. Could have been made by a Father for his daughter, from plans that would have been published in woodworking magazine.
We have researched and cannot find another one.
A wonderful piece to use with a doll collection, or decorate and display in your home!
