Up for offer is a very hard to find compact minaudiere made by Ciner. The Ciner company made mostly jewelry, but they did make some compacts and this is one of their nicest. It is in the shape of an egg and measures approximately 3 inches by 2 inches. The finger chain is about 2 and 1/2 inches long. The compact opens to reveal a central mirror separating a powder compartment from an additional cubicle. The compact is stamped Ciner on the little tab that is used to lift open the mirror. The original tag showing where to lift is still on the mirror. This compact minaudiere is extra heavy, weighing in at almost half a pound! It is featured in both Roselyn Gerson's and Lynell Schwartz's compact books, with an estimated value of $250-350.

Overall condition is excellent with the exception of the mirror, which has some black spots and has lost some of its backing along the edges.
