Early Celadon Tea Cup & Saucer

Description:

Presented for your consideration is this beautiful Celadon tea cup & saucer. The set has a matching dark sea foam green coloration with a floral and butterfly pattern throughout. Nice, intricate detailing is displayed throughout the design and the design was painted with enamel paint, making the design slightly raised and adding some texture to the cup and saucer. This is a Celadon Chinese export cup and saucer and dates to the 1820s. This great looking tea cup and saucer would make a wonderful addition to any china or tea item collection! A must see!
Some light roughness is in two areas of the top saucer rim. No significant damage. Very light age wear. Overall in EXCELLENT condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
Saucer measures 5 3/4\" in diameter and 1 1/4\" tall. Cup measures 3 1/8\" in diameter, excluding the handle and 2 5/8\" tall.
