Buyers fromCHINA, Please make sure you have the shipping address inHong Kongand it\'s on your PayPal, as we willNot ship early specimen of scarce pattern, probably an Artillery officer\'s example dating from around the War of 1812 era or just slightly later, having distinctive brass mounts with a very handsome eagle head pommel and very rarely seen Eagle over Globe motives to each side of the langet, other nice relief details to the knuckle bow and hilt mounts, all showing nice uniform patina and with a unique bull horn grip carved and fluted with the wire lacking. Mounted with a straight double edged blade of diamond cross section, exhibiting nice rich patina throughout with areas of fine pitting, both sides showing heavily worn etched decorations with traces of gold gilt finish. With very light play to all hilt mounts, otherwise in very presentable condition considering two centuries of age.
