Possibly Austrian (Austro-Hungarian) or German in origin. They are all marked for 800 silver and each depict a young girl. It was suggested that they were depicting gypsy children. They come in the fantastic tooled Moroccan leather box.Each square measures approx 11mm x 10mm.
