Being offered is an exceptional example of a 19th century Chinese hand painted Canton enamel on copperdish. This dish may be small but offers a lot of impact in the way of decoration withcarefully paintedfruits, flowers andfoliage on a deep blue background color.The originalgold gilt paintedmotif surrounds the decoration aroundplate\'s edge. The backside is enameled in pink color. The dish is unmarked.

Measurements: The dish measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter. It stands approximately 1/2 inch of the table. Measurements are approximate, but close.

Condition: We carefully examined this item. On the backside, there are some tight stress cracks. Between two of the stress lines that cross, there is a tiny triangular piece of pink enamel missing. This is so tiny, that it would be very difficult to see unless under high magnification. Not far from this area, along the backside edge is a very small surface flake of the enamel. Both mentioneditems are seen in the last two highly magnified photographs. Other than that, NO Chips, Cracks, Repairs or Restorations were noted. Please remember that your are purchasing an antique object. You should expect to find some signs of light wear from previous use, display or handling, but we report the abuse.
