ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is a beautiful and unusual Chinese Republic-era chest, c. 1930s. The chest hasinlaid decorations, hand-painted dragons, and cloisonné mounts throughout. The chest measures24 3/4\" tall, width 29 1/4\", anddepth 21 3/4\". It is unusually heavy.Such pieces are quite rare, and this isperhaps the finest I have seen.
The chest has an inner drawer, and is in excellent condition, free of losses, cracks, or anything but minor wear from use. The box is complete, and the delicate cloisonné is undamaged.
