Rare , eclectic lot of 13 letters, documents from Warwick,Massachusetts. Some of the highlights of the Lot include: A 4\"X 6\" sheet of paper that was apparently meant to be submitted to the state archives and is marked as such at the bottom. This sheet of paper gives an account of Revolutionary War private Mark Moore\'s service under command of Captain Rueben Petty. Cite enlistment date as Dec. 16, 1776 and mustered out date of 1777. This sheet is in decent condition and in fine ink script. Document has crease wear in the length of approx. 1\"1/2. Another interesting item are two double sided ledger sheets. These sheets are completely blanketed in random entries and appear to date back to 18th century. The entries include brief accounts of Royalty such as King Henry and quote numbers and statistics including the number of thieves executed under his reign. The pages speak of historical events and apparent local events including the discovery of a massive whale on short and lists measurements. The rest of the documents include correspondence exchanges between family members of Eld. John W. Bridges and include a family history.
