Offered for your consideration is thisrare and highly collectible mid-century vintage Mayer China restaurant-style coffee or tea cup and saucer featuring a stylized depiction of apine branch on a light green airbrushed background. The cup is 4¾\" wide including the handle, 3¾\" in diameter at the rim tapering down to the 2\" diameterfooted base and stands 2¼\" tall. It has the design onone side. The saucer repeats the pattern once and is 5-7/8\" in diameter. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Upon very close inspection you will seefaint crazing and underglaze cracklingon the saucer and there are three flea bites on the underside of the saucer.
