Rare set of McCoy Collection miniature bird figurines numbered 138/750. Only 750 sets of these wereproduced under the authority of Nelson and Billie McCoy. They are authorized limited editioncommemoratives of the classic Sidney Cope bird design that was used in theMcCoy Pottery’s iconic arcature planters. The yellow-breasted version has a gloss glaze and the red-breasted has a matte glaze. They measure approximately 3 inches high and2 inches wide. They are both numberedand hand autographed by Nelson and Billie McCoy. Images of the original sales sheet are attached (not included in purchase). These figurines from 1997 were among thefirst pieces commissioned and producedin the Nelson and Billie McCoy Collection.
