Special & Rare Peanuts D-Day Memorial Foundation Award prototype w/ Letter from Jeannie Schulz. After a sizeable donation was made to the D-Day Memorial Foundation this was to be the plaque awarded. The plaque you are offerding on is actually the prototype of the award that was commissioned by Charles Schulz. The plaque was saleed off and the proceeds went to the foundation. A letter was sent to to the winner of this special plaque from Jennie Schulz (actually signed by her). Its a wonderful and unique piece. It measures 14 1/8\" x 8\" - the letter is also included in the sale. Charles Schulz became involved shortly before his death to honorBill Mauldin\'s work in highlighting the enlisted man.
