Dedham Pottery Large Octagonal Platter

You are offerding a rare Pristine Pottery Shed Dedham Pottery Octagonal Platter (Roughly 11.25" x 14.5"). This platter is the most recognizable design of Dedham Pottery; it features a repeating crouching rabbit referred to as "the Dedham rabbit". The rabbits crouch on the ground with their ears back and in between each rabbit stands a vegetable stock which may be a brussel sprout. The background is traditionally crackled.

Condition: Excellent surface. There are no chips, breaks, cracks, mars, scratches or fractures.

Recently we have experienced significant delays with the use of USPS Ground or Parcel Post Shipping options. While these may be a cheaper shipping method, I cannot assure timely receipt of your item. Buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Shipping fee is either clearly stated as a fixed price, or, set by weight and size of the package. Multiple purchases may have an unknown shipping rate due to fluctuations in weight but items will be combined to save money whenever possible. If you intend on offerding on multiple items, please let us know so we don't start packing in advance.

If there is a stated handling charge, it is to cover the cost of insurance.

Whatever delivery option you choose, you pay only for actual postage costs. In the event of postage errors, (yes, we are human!) just contact us and any overpayment with be reimbursed.

In the case of shipping damage in an insured shipment: Retain all packing materials and take to your local post office to submit a claim.

Unless stated as new, our items have been around for years and are sold "AS IS". They have been loved, used, washed, packed, etc. We take care that the pictures and descriptions are as detailed as possible, and try our best to describe condition accurately. As such, we will only accept returns if the item was truly misrepresented in the listing. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. If we authorize a return, buyer bears responsibility for shipping costs.

Occasionally, we pack lots of fragile items, like a dinner service, and may choose to ship in multiple smaller packages rather than one large box. Experience shows that smaller, lighter packages are more likely to arrive undamaged than larger, heavier ones. This may result in increased shipping costs which are the responsibility of the buyer.
